i GOT PULLED OVER FOR SPEEDING( WHICH I'M GUILTY FOR) HOWEVER I DID HAVE INSURANCE WHICH THE CARD SAID IT EXPIRED 7/30 I GOT PULLED OVER ON 7/16. i GOT A LETTER IN THE MAIL SAYING MY INSURANCE ISN'T VALID. I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE RIGHT NOW BUT THE CARD SAID IT WAS STILL GOOD.. THE LETTER FROM THE D.M.V SAYS MY LICENSE IS GOING TO BE SUSPENDED... IF I GO AND BUY INSURANCE RIGHT NOW WILL I BE OK AND SHOW IT TO THE COURT THAT I DO HAVE INSURANCE? HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS MESS? BTW I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA

What happens if i cancel by car insurance?

I have recently turned 17 and can start driving in the UK. There is obviously a large difference between insurance quotes for my car depending on whether i hold a provisional license or a full license. While i am on a provisional i can get a quote for 620 with Quinn-Direct but this will go up to 2000+ after i pass my test. What happens if i buy my insurance then cancel it when i pass my test and get a quote from elsewhere, (I can get one for 1400) will i get a percentage of my money back or will it just be lost? (I have only had car insurance for about 6 months, so I am still pretty new to this). My question was that my 6 month renewal policy states that my premium is $728.86; however, when I first got with this company, I paid around $368 down because I am in that age bracket where they stereotype you as a bad driver. Will I have to pay the $368 again along with monthly payments of $66.60? Or will I just continue to pay my monthly payment as it is?

Hey, Im a 16 year old boy turning 17 in 5 months. I have been eligable to get a license since December 23,2011. My parents dont want me to get it ONLY because the insurance will cost too much.
